This privacy notice for Kodijärve Instituut OÜ (hereby referred to as "Institute" from now on) describes how and why Institute might collect, store, use, and/or share (hereby referred to as "process" from now on) Clients' information when they use Institute's services (hereby referred to as "Services" from now on), such as when you:
- Visit Institute's website at www.kahekeelekursused.ee, or any website of Institute that links to this privacy notice
- Download and use any application (e.g. www.kahoot.com and www.quizlet.com) that links to this privacy notice
- Engage with Institute in other related ways ― including any sales, marketing, or events

What personal information does Institute process? When Clients visit, use, or navigate our Services, Institute may process personal information depending on how Clients interact with Institute and its Services, the choices Clients make, and the products and features Clients use.
Does Institute process any sensitive personal information? As a rule Institute does not process sensitive personal information with the only exception being your ID-code Clients' consent to give us in order to enable Institute to report to the Estonian Customs and Tax Board the fees paid by Clients (form 3, according to Income Tax Act § 26 of the Republic of Estonia the language course fees declared on Tax return entitle you to 20% refund on the fee paid ). In other words: Institute may process sensitive personal information when necessary with Clients' consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Does Institute receive any—language learning and teaching related--information from third parties? Institute may receive information relevant to language learning and teaching from public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, and other relevant outside sources.
How does Institute process clients' information? Institute processes Clients' information to provide, improve, and administer Services, communicate with Clients, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. Institute may also process Clients' information for other purposes with Clients' consent. Institute processes Clients' information only when Institute has a valid legal reason to do so.
In what situations and with which types of parties do we share personal information? Institute may only share personal information in specific situations and with specific categories of third parties, which currently only includes Estonian Customs and Tax Board in order to abide with Income Tax Act § 26 of the Republic of Estonia.
How does Institute keep Clients' information safe? Institute has organizational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information, which first and formost and obviously means Clients' ID-codes are not displayed in public. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
What are Clients' rights? Depending on where Clients are located geographically, the applicable privacy law may mean Clients have certain rights regarding their personal information.
How do Clients exercise their rights? The easiest way to exercise your rights is by contacting Institute at terje.keldoja@gmail.com. Institute will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
